Jarrad’s family became homeless after his wife got sick and he had to leave his job to care for her. You need to hear his family’s story. No Queensland family should be homeless. The LNP need to take immediate action on the housing affordability crisis.

The LNP need to reverse their cruel changes to emergency accommodation requirements. They need to immediately review the thresholds for social housing. Anything less is failing Queenslanders in their time of need.

A mum, with terminal cancer, her partner and her four kids shouldn’t be sleeping in a car. They shouldn’t be turned away by the housing department because their Centrelink payment is considered ‘too much’. But that’s the devastating reality for Jarrad and Lee-Ella.
