Claiming "good works" are proof of salvation is one of the dumbest, most logically bankrupt ideas in theology. Nobody **LITERALLY NOBODY** produces perfect "good works" 24/7 (which is required by our perfect God). We all sin constantly: selfish thoughts, pride, lust, anger, laziness, you name it. Every single moment you put yourself above God (which is most moments for all of us) would, by your own ridiculous standard, prove you're not saved. That means you'd be losing and regaining salvation hundreds of times a day like some spiritual yo-yo. It's laughably absurd, completely unbiblical, and turns the gospel of grace into a cruel performance trap nobody could ever pass.
