I extended my sincere congratulations to Professor John Matthew Martinis, an American of Croatian descent and the 2025 @NobelPrize laureate in Physics, in a letter delivered to him today in Santa Barbara by Croatia’s Consul General in Los Angeles, Renee Pea. I was proud to commend his remarkable scientific achievement and to thank him for his warm words about his 🇭🇷 roots, Komiža, and the island of Vis in recent interviews. Croatia looks forward to welcoming him.
