A newborn conservative, and big on common sense. Naturally skeptical. Husband of @David82Smith. Christian & GAY. Have a problem with that? I don’t care.

This is a sanitized, short version of my story. I left out the gory details.

Wow. Where to start. My father was a minister and my mother was a school teacher. The all American dream. I was supposed to be a minister, was groomed for it, and became one. The problem is, I was gay. So I stayed unmarried as long as I could, but in that career field you need a wife. I found that in my friend Raychelle. She was beautiful and toxic and had a drug problem. She was a model and worked in the cosmetics industry. I got her pregnant, and we quickly married, and had 2 more kids. I continued in ministry and also worked as an Area Sales Manager for Dillards. Her drug habit slowly got worse. She knew I was gay. We never touched each other much. She cheated, I looked the other way. Then I started dabbling in drugs and loved it. It triggered a sort of meltdown though, and I was diagnosed with bipolar. A bunch of stuff happened (I gotta skip a lot). In 2016, after her dad died, our relationship dissolved and I came out. It was fantastic. But I met the wrong guys and had already experimented with drugs, so it was on. I lost it. I lost myself. I lost it all. When I say I was hopeless, we’re talking 3 ICU stays for overdoses and 4 trips to rehab. But something clicked that 4th time. I got clean, and stayed in Baton Rogue until my ex wife died (Alcoholism) and my dad got sick. I got back home and got my shit together. I got on my feet. Got a good job. Dated quality men. Placed boundaries on myself I never had before like brutal honesty with myself and others, and no excuses. Excuses nearly killed me. I met David, a nurse, and married him last year. I live here with my 3 beautiful daughters who once wouldn’t even talk to me and I think I’m their favorite person. My mom is aging and I’m caring for her. I manage the internet order fillet for a major cooperation and I make almost as much as I ever have, and I’m happy. I’m authentic. It just took me 46 years to get here. Thank you for asking.

I know a soap performer now who has to be really, really, really conservative. And we already know she is, but one account is…whoah. And no, I’m not spreading it. You can see who folks follow.

He used his car as a weapon against law enforcement. Or does that not constitute deadly force? Normal citizens don’t try to impede ICE. Now, we’ve established that ICE has had to defend against crazies trying to fight them, let’s ask this… How many native Americans have died from drugs brought in over the border? How many have been raped or murdered? They should all be here too, and they are actually one of us. So spare me the fake outrage and keep siping on that vodka. We’re all better off when you’re too drunk to make a sentence.

Joan Sebastian Guerrero should still be alive. This is the second time in a week that ICE agents have killed someone who — by their own admission — was not the subject of their operation. Now Sebastian is dead, his killing witnessed by his three-year-old daughter wearing her Bluey pajamas. This cannot be acceptable in America. There must be an immediate, independent, and transparent investigation. Anyone responsible for wrongdoing must be held accountable.

@thenormalestgay I was an addict. Alcohol isn’t the problem with me, but I still avoid it most of the time out of caution. I’m nearly 7 years clean. Life has never been better. But I’ll never let any substance control me again.

@StevenTank40953 I think back to my 20s, binge drinking 3-5 nights a week…makes me shudder. now, two drinks and I’m a wreck the next morning. Good! Keeps me from ever going back that way.

It really needs to be said how valuable Stacy Haiduk is and how little #Days appreciates it. Third nomination since joining, twice consecutively a few years back, this time representing top of the ticket -- jewel of the crown -- always kills and hasn't worked since December. 🤦

One thing I like about my Blink doorbell is that it makes my upper body look bigger than it really is. 🤣

When people ask me about the gay community around Atlanta I’m honest. It’s here and we have a large community. If you want cool spots to hang out we’ve got the Eagle and Heretic. But they can be a lot. Gay men are extra wherever you go, but in the ATL they are EXTRA. Like Los Angeles gay extra. But it can be fun.

@DonBlais85 Nope. I didn’t even know what live was till I met David. I had an idea, but I didn’t. Real love is like a warm porch like. It’s like a campfire roaring when it 20 degrees. It lights the world up in the best way.

@StevenTank40953 I've been thinking of leaving Massachusetts and going south. Do you recommend Georgia? A good place to find a guy? Lol
