@dynaxis Java 21 is the minimum set by Jakarta EE 11. Tomcat 11 implements the Servlet, Pages, EL and WebSocket specs from Jakarta EE 11. With the June 2023 releases, virtual thread support will be available on all Tomcat versions (8.5.x, 9.0.x, 10.1.x and 11.0.x) when running on Java 21.
