This is what it looks like when you give Zionists everything they want. This is Zionism put into practice. The wars. The massacres. The bombed-out schools and hospitals. The millions of displaced individuals. The invasion of Lebanon The explosions carpeting Tehran. The hollowed-out moonscape of Gaza. The horrific pogroms in the West Bank. The child amputees. The smell of the rotting corpses. The assassinated doctors and journalists. The blackened sky and the poisoned water. The nonstop deluge of brain-melting propaganda. The aggressive promotion of Islamophobia and anti-Arab racism. The erosion of free speech rights throughout the western world. The corrupt warmongering politicians. The legions of online hasbara trolls. The soaring fuel prices. Money which could pay for social services buying bombs for Israel instead. All the death, destruction, instability and suffering that's being visited upon countless civilians throughout west Asia. This is Zionism. This is what it looks like when you apply the political ideology of forcibly imposing the existence of a Jewish ethnonationalist apartheid state on historic Palestine. This is it. You're looking at it. There is no alternate-reality version of Zionism where all these nightmares are not happening. There is no other kind of Zionism out there waiting in the wings. The liberal Zionist fantasy of a peaceful, egalitarian Israel is just that: a fantasy. It has never existed in real life. In real life Israel cannot exist without nonstop violence and abuse. It's like a house that will fall down if it's not in a constant state of construction. At some point you realize the house should never have been built where it was built, and that steps need to be taken to rectify this error. Zionism is a failed experiment. How do we know? Look around you. Time to pull the plug.

Deranged. The claim here is that it's antisemitic to accuse Labour of complicity in genocide. It's clear where this is heading: They want to make it illegal to criticise Israel's crimes.

Wes Streeting wants to run Britain, and I think he may be even more dangerous than Starmer. I’ve been doing some research, and here’s what I’ve discovered about Streeting's background and his links to Morgan McSweeney…🧵

You want to know what they actually modernized? They modernized the bureaucracy of control. The British did not build Indian railways for Indians. They built them to move troops to suppress rebellions and move raw materials to ports for export. The railways literally ran from resource extraction zones to coastal shipping terminals. The map of colonial infrastructure is a map of extraction, not development, and anyone willing to look at it honestly can see it immediately. Same in Africa. Same in Southeast Asia. Same everywhere. The roads lead to the ports. The ports lead to Europe. The benefits flow in one direction. And then, when independence comes and the country is poor and the infrastructure serves export rather than internal development, they point at the poverty and say: "See? They can't govern themselves." They built the poverty. Then they cited it as evidence.

I have complained about this to the BBC: Dear BBC Complaints Team, I am writing to complain about a segment on Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg (@bbclaurak) broadcast on 10 May 2026. During the interview with Richard Tice (@TiceRichard) of Reform UK, Mr Tice stated that the Green Party is “the anti-Semitic Green party.” This was a serious accusation. My concerns: -No right of reply No Green Party representative was present to respond. The presenter did not mention that the Green Party had not been given an opportunity to reply. -Failure to challenge Laura Kuenssberg did not question, challenge, or provide any context/counterpoint to the claim. She simply moved on. -Breach of due impartiality BBC Editorial Guidelines require serious allegations in political contexts to be properly tested and for due weight to be given to opposing views. This did not occur. The Green Party is led by Zack Polanski (@ZackPolanski), who is Jewish. No context was provided to viewers. I believe this fell short of the BBC’s standards on fairness and impartiality. Please investigate and consider a clarification/correction. Thank you. James #BBCLauraK
Saul Staniforth@SaulStaniforth

Richard Tice is asked about racist comments made by a Reform councillor He immediately pivots to antisemitism & calls the Green party "the antisemitic party". LK doesn't challenge that. Tice is then asked if the councillors comments are wrong & inappropriate. He refuses to say

I need you to explain the timeline to me. For most of recorded history, China led the world in technological innovation. Papermaking. Printing. Gunpowder. The compass. Cast iron. Mechanical clocks. Porcelain. Centuries ahead of Europe. The Islamic world preserved and advanced Greek mathematics, developed algebra, made foundational contributions to astronomy, medicine, and optics while Europe was in its medieval period. India had sophisticated metallurgy, textile production, and mathematical systems including the numeral system you do your accounting in right now. If Western wealth comes from science and technology as a cultural attribute, explain why the technology leaders of the 10th century were not the industrial leaders of the 19th. What changed? I'll wait.
George Jacobs@Salem_GeorgeJ

@nxt888 The West's enormous amount of wealth has always been built on science, and technology. Why is it always leftists that have to lie and make excuses for their lack of success?

You say the investment "was paid for by something." Yes. It was paid for by: Enslaved labor in the Caribbean and the American South. Indentured labor in India, Malaya, and Fiji. Forced rubber harvesting in the Congo with amputation as enforcement. Land seizures across Africa that displaced millions from agricultural land their families had farmed for centuries. Opium forced on China at gunpoint to correct Britain's trade deficit. The deliberate destruction of Indian textile industries that had supplied the world before colonization. Famines in Bengal, in Ireland, in India, that killed tens of millions of people while grain was exported from the affected territories to Britain. "Paid for by something." Yes. Now say what the something was. Say it plainly. Use real words for real things. And then tell me again about the railways.

Here is the simplest way to see through the infrastructure argument: If a foreign power occupied your country tomorrow, took 90% of its resources, suppressed its industries to prevent competition, banned its people from the senior positions of their own government, killed those who resisted, and then, after two hundred years, left behind some roads, would you call those roads a gift? Would you tell your grandchildren: we are lucky they came? The answer is obviously no. The only reason the argument works for colonial history is distance. Geographic distance. Temporal distance. Racial distance. The infrastructure argument is not a historical argument. It is a distance argument. And distance is not the same as truth.
Haynes Eslinger@HansSling63

@nxt888 Many colonies have the infrastructure left behind by the colonizer. Usually the most advanced in their country. Laws, order, and a higher level of civilization in that area, compared to outlying areas. Yeah, the investment was paid for by something.

Israel killed Maryam today in Saksakiyeh, South Lebanon. She was only 2 years old. They killed her mother too — Jana, 24 years old. A baby and her mother. This is what Israel’s bombs do. This is who they kill.

🚨 Pete Hegseth Could NOT Defend This NO QUARTERS 😱 When pressed on his own words: “We will keep pushing, keep advancing, no quarter, no mercy for our enemies.” He had zero defense. Just word salad and deflection. Legal experts are crystal clear: “No quarter” = unlawful order to kill surrendering enemies. That’s a direct violation of the laws of war. Our troops swear an oath to the Constitution not to pirate-movie tough-guy cosplay from the Pentagon. This isn’t strength. This is how you get American service members court-martialed and America dragged into war-crime territory. America deserves a Defense Secretary who actually knows the rules.

US Naval Assets Attacked in Strait of Hormuz as Washington's Strategy Falters Recent satellite imagery contradicts official U.S. government statements, suggesting a significant naval confrontation in the Strait of Hormuz where Iranian forces successfully struck American warships, revealing deep strategic vulnerabilities and a potential turning point in the regional conflict.** An incident in the Strait of Hormuz, which the U.S. government has reportedly tried to downplay, indicates a serious escalation in naval hostilities. According to analysis and satellite data, Iranian forces launched a successful attack on American naval assets. Thermal imaging from NASA satellites confirmed multiple fire signatures in the strait, corresponding precisely with the locations of U.S. destroyers and corroborating Iranian claims. Following the engagement, the three U.S. ships involved—the USS Truxtun, USS Mason, and USS Rafael Peralta—retreated from the area to the Sea of Oman. While Washington has officially maintained that everything is fine, the satellite evidence and the ships' withdrawal tell a different story. A Coordinated "Salvo" Attack Reveals U.S. Vulnerability Iran executed a sophisticated, coordinated assault known as a "salvo model attack." This strategy involved the simultaneous deployment of fast attack boats, drones, and anti-ship missiles to overwhelm the U.S. destroyers' defenses. Military analysts note that in such an attack, not every projectile needs to hit its target; just one or two penetrating the air defense screen can be enough to neutralize a modern warship. When an anti-ship missile strikes a vessel like a destroyer, it doesn't need to sink it to be effective. The damage forces the crew into damage control, effectively removing the ship from active combat and forcing it to withdraw for repairs. This sends a powerful strategic message. The attack highlights a critical vulnerability for U.S. naval forces in the region. American destroyers, which carry up to 96 missile cells, have seen their magazines significantly depleted after weeks of operations. Much of their remaining capacity is dedicated to air-defense missiles, while their offensive arsenal, including Tomahawk cruise missiles, has been largely spent. This leaves them operating in a contested waterway with diminished combat readiness against a calculated opponent. The Strategic Aftermath and Shifting Tides In the wake of the attack, Iran broadcast a warning to all commercial vessels to maintain a 10-mile distance from U.S. warships, stating the necessity of "teaching American forces a lesson," a message that does not reflect a losing side. This naval skirmish is a piece of a much larger strategic puzzle. While U.S. intelligence assesses Iran's military is operating at 70-75% of its pre-war capacity, Iran's foreign minister counters that it's at 120%, having moved critical missile production and strategic assets to hardened underground facilities before the conflict began. This suggests that U.S. and Israeli airstrikes, while destroying buildings, failed to hit their intended targets. Meanwhile, the United States has expended a vast amount of its own high-end munitions, including approximately half of its Tomahawk inventory and a third of its ballistic missile interceptors. Replenishing these stockpiles takes years, a problem now compounded by China's new restrictions on the export of rare-earth materials essential for manufacturing modern weapons systems.

⁨The BBC’s complicity didn’t begin yesterday, it was already evident in 2009. It failed then, and it has since sunk even lower: curating selective narratives, laundering language, obscuring facts, and manufacturing distortions that strip Palestinians of their humanity, all in obedient alignment with pro-Israel lobbying pressure. Tony Benn understood this well.⁩
