We need to be clear; the rights response to the Club Q shooting was not “thoughts and prayers” but instead “the groomers deserved it”. This is the rhetoric continuing to escalate. This is inciting violence. It will continue to get worse, as will the violence against trans folks.

I'm a professor & I'm trans, so I'm setting homework for y'all (not all of you) for this #TransAwarenessWeek 1. When you say 'men or women' as though it's everyone, know you're excluding. Not all of us are in that binary. 2. When you write 'men & women', mean both trans & cis.

I went to @OldNavy today and there wasn’t a single item in the store that was my size. I had heard this happened from other fat folks, >1 year after Old Navy’s short-lived “inclusive sizing” launch. While seeing this was upsetting, what I learned from management was worse..🧵
