Taking months to make a decision is cruel, we even had to prove where the money came from that we lost. We felt like the criminals, not the victims.

@LookingBack22 @bushontheradio To be fair as a former Financial investigator in the fraud team I will say, the banks used to behave exactly that way but in the last 4-5 years most banks have paid out to victims. Not because they’re caring but they hated the bad publicity! However, I take your point about F.O

@bushontheradio @StewBold Dig in for a long haul. Banks and Financial Institutions default is not to pay out, pushing you instead to the Financial Ombudsman Service. They in turn take months to make a decision, and remember they are funded by the Banks & Financial Institutions.

@bushontheradio As a former fraud investigator this happens way too much. Fortunately most banks now restore funds to victims accounts. Get them to contact their bank. If the bank want to be difficult, contact FCA

Our club has been run by the wrong people in the wrong way. We now find ourselves in a desperate place. Those that have got us here aren’t the right people to get us out. This is not just a financial issue but a cultural issue that has been allowed to exist for far too long.

Both Derry City (League of Ireland) and Institute (Northern Irish Premiership) share the Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium in Derry.
