@SwiftOnSecurity @fitzhunter Nearly every major media company in Australia has financial interests in coal or other fossil fuels. So unless they're getting their news from non-australian or independent sources, the news they consume is funded by coal and has a pro-fossil fuel bias.

There's one add in the app drawer that is out of the way and only appears if you want to go to the settings area via app drawer, instead of using the settings button on the remote. Unsure about not being connected though

@cybergibbons @JonnySchnittger We don't use internet on a Sony XBR device like it's dumb and like it. Apparently Samsung forces ads on you a lot. Or annoys you about not being connected. Tons of bad reviews online.
