This is Småpudden in Bergen. It’s a small bridge that crosses Puddiken. Normally it ensures that you can cross the fjord in about two minutes. However, when a stupid sailboat causes the bridge to open it means getting to the other side would currently take over 12 hours.

The small Norwegian village of Lavik lies just across the water from Ytre Oppedal. A regular ferry service connects the two in about 20 minutes. However, the massive Sognefjord means that driving between them would currently take over 14 hours, covering 951 km (591 miles).
