Unlike Sonic and Metal, Amy and Eggman cels were never made public, so it's hard for me to track the right colors they have. My only solution is to shift the tone samples to match the cel colors I want to choose, with a little bit of adjustment

it will always piss me off how mighty and ray originally had two very distinct body types back when they were conceptualized only to then get changed to fit the default classic character mold

@AshYaoiRulez124 So much better than the originals. Like I don’t think I would like Mighty and Ray as much if they looked exactly like the concept. I honestly don’t like the push to have Mighty and Ray look more different physically as I find their current body types preferable.

@Sonicguru_Dan It doesn't fit because Mobius does not exist anymore. They cannot be native to a planet they don't live in. They're "earthlings", just like humans. In Dragon Ball, there were also animal people but they were "earthlings" still. Why does everything need classification?

Call them what then? Im not unlearning a name for a fictional species just because Sega "doesnt like the name or calls them that". Give me a replacement or shut up. They're MOBIANS

@judy_totoya I recall the darker red being removed from Sonic 1’s palette in the final Sonic 2. You said you may have used the Sonic 1 pal but weren’t satisfied with the results. Changing the yellow to orange with the Sonic 1 pal makes the sprite look like this—maybe this was your result?

@StickNicktoon It's a long time ago, so I've forgotten, but it was probably an experimental color using Sonic's palette. In the end, they had to use one palette for the two characters, so they removed one color from Sonic's from the first game and changed the shade of blue.

@judy_totoya I have a question, do you recall what colors were used when creating this tails sprite? We suspect he uses Sonic's shoe red, a tan, and an orange.

@losermakesgames What I don’t understand from all this is if they had a vendetta against Raven and just letting those emotions build up why did they go about it this way instead of at least making an actual effort to consult with her about their problems

What I don’t understand is how after being made clear there was several inconsistencies in the statements made, there’s not a single effort to consider Raven’s perspective or the way the situation was handled here? It’s just Altraz leaking private conversations.

@hlyaterzi15 @WickRbn Nah, the third spike was on the neck and was disregarded. If you watch that infamous sonic 1 commercial with the clay sonic, in the screens specifically, sonic shows his head but it has only 2 head spikes.

@StickNicktoon @WickRbn Didn't Sonic always have 3 spikes on his head? Even when the head quills and torso quills were connected at least half of the 3rd quill was on his head. It just seems like a really weird way to seperate it here
