@Stig11686 I believe it was to implement infinite scrolling (more posts load as you scroll), and to build a custom search / filter feature as none of the plugins were as robust as I wanted.

Two years ago I paid a guy on Fiverr about $1,000 to build a couple simple features for my WordPress site. I never want to rely on outside help for that again. That’s why I’m learning PHP.
