Where do HTS come in? First, in generating the high magnetic fields used to align protons and make them spin. But more importantly, is in the sensitive detectors that pickup those protons emitted RF waves. SC detectors would improve the sensitivity of an MRI by 12x

🚨 In this study led by @jpfsouza33, we showed clinical evidence of astrocyte heterogeneity in the living AD brain. While CSF GFAP levels reflect a response to Aβ pathology, CSF YKL- 40 levels reflect a response to tau pathology. nature.com/articles/s4138… rdcu.be/cTp0C.
