@TheNorfolkLion I agree & I don’t even use that word - which my kids think is hilarious!
But they are both utter fuckers!!

@Honest_Midwife @Carole45744510 So who died because of you and the system? Is that what your saying
English

@rwrjbb @dave43law But what a load of crap they’ve caused in those two months eh??
English

@dave43law Amazing how they think they know what is in the budget, it's just a failing rag that has nothing more to give other than #ToryLies
The failed tories and right wing media have been relentless in their attacks on the current government who have only had 2 months

Another fantasy piece from the Express - based on a possible tax change in Budget - it is all conjecture

@thetimes I noted from that list that over 40s get an NHS health check every 5 years? Well by that reckoning, I should have had at least 5 - as I’m 67 and have NEVER been offered one single one! 🙄
English

@cbucksrules I was advised against taking HRT, so I stopped being a woman some time ago. I think I'm menopausal non binary translucent now 😁

@MartinSLewis Nothing compares to wait times calling any HMRC department- which I have to do several times a day. Ask any accountant or bookkeeper that has to deal with them! On hold for over an hour most times, May get cut off several times before you ever speak to anyone too.
Ridiculous!
English

"We're taking a lot of calls right now, and the wait is much longer than usual, pls stay on the call right now..."
BALDERDASH, BALONEY and other B words.
I just (again) got this when calling a bank. It's not 'longer than usual', it is USUAL. Either hire more call operatives, or don't play the message. It's a lie and we all know it.

@ArabelsRaven85 @Mother_Ima_Isha You can get a Deed of Revocation of Power of Attorney pack for £6.99 from LAWPACK - Google them. And once that part is sorted do a new LPA while she definitely has capacity, and before your brother has another go!
English

He managed to get her to sign him and his partner off as LPA for health. All planned months ago to leave me out. As long as the nursing team believe she has capacity I can her her push for what she wants. I don't think she will lose capacity until the very end. By which time I hope to get her admitted to a hospice. It's what she wants. It's a big deal to change the LPA and time is running out. It's been a nightmare.
English

Just discovered my bro and his partner tried to get my mum registered as 'losing capacity' and into the care home for dementia patients and those with severe mental health problems that happens to be opposite his home in Surrey.
Good God.
My mum HAS capacity. The nursing team agreed with me and his plans have been cancelled.
It's been one hell of a week. Just awful.
My mum is coming home from hospital. She's taking antibiotics orally for an infection. I've done the weekly shop and home-carers are on board.

@JeinsenLam @LawPawCalendar Look at the earlier photos from Tabby Walker & see how much he did not particularly want to be in that costume!😂

@Koodleskoo @MartinSLewis Ask your step-brother if he has been declaring the rental income to HMRC on self-assessment tax returns for all those years too!
English

@MartinSLewis Happened with my (step) brother. Now trying to kick his mum out of property she’s rented off Him for 12 years. Put most her life savings into it. Rent from £500 to £835. She’s 78. Local Housing Allowance won’t cover it. What does she do?
English

Not often I'm lost for words on air. Yet I admit i was a bit baffled how to answer a question read out on #ThisMorning about a couple who've only just found out/realised the mortgage they've had for 40yrs was interest only. Details were scant so it was tough to work out what to say other than to point them to get 1-on-1 help.
English

@DVLA I have been ringing you for over a week to chase up on my driving licence, as am allowed to drive again. (16/2) I have sent in the form, signed for on 8/3.
Always on hold, pressing various options at times, then ‘we’re too busy to talk to you, call back later’ - not good!!
English

@Tabby_Walker Nothing wrong with that @Tabby - you should be so lucky!!! 😂😂 Xero
