Oh man.. ugly looking head/neck injury for Evan Maillet who's having the game of his life. Really hope him coming out is just precautionary.. 🙏

Matthew Manza continues to play terrific hockey as he gets 3 assists. Gives him 18 points in his last 23GP & 13 over his last 11. Really what you wanna see as this season comes to a close. 1 game left tomorrow in Saginaw.

Sarnia's most unexpected win of the year comes in their 2nd last one. They knock off the conference's top team in Kitchener 4-3. Evan Maillet & Patrick Quinlan were insane stopping 43/46. In his final game at his local barn Young gets 2G which has to feel amazing.

Holy hell, Evan Maillet! Not one. Not two. But THREE highlight reel saves in the same shift. He's been otherworldly tonight as Sarnia is being out shot 26-4. Keep in mind he hasn't played in a game since January 7th! #Sting #OHL

In Sarnia's last visit to Kitchener they were out shot 15-1 in the 1st period. Tonight they were out shot 13-1 in the 1st period. So in the two 1st periods in KIT this year the Sting have been out shot 28-2.... #OHL #Sting

Another packed house as well which caps off a terrific season attendance wise despite it being a 3rd tough season in a row. Not a more loyal fan base in the #OHL. 2 road games left & that'll be it.

3 assist night for Logan Hawery who has 10 points in 13GP with the Sting. 2 goals for Tyler Challenger vs his former team. Gives him 9G/5A with Sarnia. 2 guys who could really breakout next season with good summers in my opinion.

Sarnia ends the home schedule with a solid win over Erie. Nice to see some guys score who more than likely played in their final home game.

Say it every year, but it always blows my mind how fast the #OHL season goes by.. Final home game of what's been a very (very) trying season for the #Sting once again. See if they can end it at home with a win.

What a criminally low amount of games for something so dangerous & reckless. Should've been 5+ at the minimum. Not to mention his return game? Vs London. #OHL

@MikeBartner Probably a combo of a few things.. Not the biggest guy, not an elite skater & as others have mentioned they tend to really light it up vs lesser teams (like the 1 root for!) also plays with 2 great linemates which helps. But he's nasty. Sick hands, shot, vision. Real upside imo

Genuine question for my prospect/OHL friends because I haven't had the chance to watch him yet: Why is Nikita Klepov widely viewed outside the Top 20 by the scouts right now? Leading the OHL in points as a late birthday and solid size already. The scouting reports I've read don't even say he has like a GLARING weakness such as skating or IQ. All describe him as a skilled player with a solid motor. I know the OHL is not what it used to be, but this profile usually is like a top 11-18 guy.

I'll say Sarnia definitely holds blame in the game getting so out of hand, but Turcotte is bang on in his assessment of them always targeting Sarnia's 16 yr olds. As I said yesterday this is a reoccurring trend with Glavin for 2 years now. #OHL #Sting

Letang & Seca worked hand in hand. They both changed their tune after losing to London & it's been for the worse. When Alan was let go so should've Dylan. Have had little issue w/Turcotte so far. He joined a sinking ship. #Sting #OHL

To add on I haven't heard, or seen Sting fans this frustrated with the team in quite some time Mark Guy went on radio & said he& Seca are going to Europe for the U18s & I am beyond flabbergasted I simply do not understand how they are keeping him as GM after these 3 years #OHL

Sarnia has been pretty good for not letting their frustration boil over but it finally did today. Can't say I've seen that many guys kicked out in a long, long time. Luckily nothing overly stupid happened.
