The fact that IndyCar took "pit windows and the running order of cars on track" in consideration of whether or not to throw a yellow for a stalled car or safety issue is completely asinine. At least they removed that, but holy shitballs. Really? That was in the procedures? Geez.

Second, if the hill you want to die on is the butterfly effect, if Connor would have backed out, he wouldn't have been squeezed into the wall, so Connor's fault then, right? @Frontstretch Mistakes happen. However, NASCAR shouldn't make these types of mistakes. They should have a redundancy replay system in place when making a harsh call like this and people to immediately review on the fly.

Weird hearing the NASCAR commericial say "every damn second" in promoting it. Might as well go deep and start using F bombs and get Samuel L Jackson in commercials to say "Watch Us, Mother F***ers!" ... go balls deep, NASCAR.

If they leak it to media yesterday, they get 24 hours of pre-hype, then 24 hours of post-release hype. 48 hrs of interaction vs 24.

But it is sometimes a good thing for pre-hype as well as getting people to look for the actual release. More traffic, more discussion, more eyeballs, etc.
