Can you make a bubble that isn’t round? Reception investigated this question as part of British Science Week. We had a lot of fun making bubble wands and blowing lots of bubbles! 🫧🫧

Mr Kirby’s group started with the low ropes. He enjoyed challenging the children! They showed great teamwork scaling the high wall.

Mrs Henderson’s group had a great time on the crate stack. So proud of their teamwork, kindness and perseverance to help everyone achieve. 🌟

🌞Fun in the sun! 🌞 Year 1 have been showcasing gymnastic skills, climbing on the trim trail and playing football. There were also some budding photographers in our class, taking some fantastic photos of children and staff! 🌞🤸‍♀️📸

Outdoor learning. Year 1 visited our prayer area after learning more about The Easter Story. We reflected on how Jesus may have been feeling whilst praying in the Garden of Gethsemane and what he may have asked God for. ✝️

Science week! Year 1 conducted a colour explosion experiment. We wrote predictions and evaluations of our experiment and observed any changes very carefully!

The popcorn was a hit! Mmmmmmm yummy 🍿

Off we go into the forest to collect fire wood! 🪵

Mrs Henderson’s group are ‘Team Bushcraft’ first up. Firewood collectors, fire starters and builders. Patiently waiting for the popcorn!

Year 4 have arrived safely at Viney Hill! We’ve had lunch and are enjoying the sunshine! ☀️ #adventure

Year 4 have been sharing their incredible Learning Logs based on our topic ‘Climate Change’. They have produced some thoughtful, factual and very creative outcomes. #excellence #identity

Year 4 have been exploring lots of ‘big’ questions in RE. Today we thought about what Christians believe about God through the story of Jesus calms the storm. #RE
