@TonyJuniper @NaturalEngland We need you to properly monitor what we already have, like ancient woodland #BullockWoodSSSI - and give SSSI protection to new places like @SaveRanges . These are both mega important wildlife sites in Colchester.

The @NaturalEngland Species Recovery Programme has for decades supported successful efforts for hundreds of species, avoiding or reversing national extinction for dozens. We look forward to making the most of the opportunities that arise from this significant new investment.

@RosieP4 @Steveredwolf The only problem with this is when the farmer is the one who puts forward his land in a call for sites. This is what has happened to us. It’s a shame because he’s used a lot more sustainable methods over the past few years.
