15 years ago, when I lived in Bosnia, they used to bury 500 people at once. Now it is 30. Many have been found, and identified since. Remains returned to families. I think there's about a thousand or so still missing, and I can't imagine what it's like for those families..

Today, July 11th, we mark 28 years since the genocide in Srebrenica in which 8372 Bosniak civilians were brutally murdered. 30 newly identified victims will be buried at the Memorial Center in Potočari. We honour the victims and survivors - may their stories never be forgotten.
