2025 is done. +82.82% total return. But let me be honest about how it felt in the moment. The first half of the year? Slow. Frustrating. I was underperforming the S&P and questioning everything. But I didn't blow up my strategy. I didn't chase. I just kept rolling, kept waiting, kept trusting the process. Rolling options out weeks and months isn't fun. But that's the job. I signed up for this. Eventually, patience paid off. Positions expired. New premiums came in. The second half took off. What I'm most grateful for isn't the 82%. It's what options income gave me this year: - Down payment for real estate investment - A vacation with my family - Peace of mind when layoffs hit my company That's the real return. Freedom from stress. Income I control. Every day I thank God for showing me this path. On to 2026. Let's keep building.

Closed the short call. 87% profit. Cost me $42 to buy it back. Rolled to a new strike. Collected $431. Up 4.59% YTD.

My Poor Man's Covered Call journey started today with $MSFT. The stock is getting punished because of OpenAI concerns. But $MSFT is so much more than that. Office 365. Windows. Azure. LinkedIn. Xbox. Activision. Last quarter they did $81B in revenue and $38B in profit. This is a business that prints money. And it's on sale. Bought: Jan 2028 $310 call → $12,020 Sold: Apr 2026 $420 call → $339 Almost 2 years of runway to benefit from a recovery. Selling calls along the way to reduce cost basis. Let's see how it plays out.

Another week where the 9 to 5 reminded me it's not where I want to be permanently. Tight deadlines. Nonstop requests. Zero breathing room. This is exactly why I invest every dollar I can. The job funds the freedom. And eventually weeks like this will become a choice.

@stocktalkweekly Not to defend anyone here, but some people do it because their audience have small accounts and needs proof that the strategy works at their level too.

Anyone doing "small account challenges" is an amateur or a charlatan. No real trader would even consider it. Why on earth would a consistently profitable trader, with millions of dollars in capital, spend time & effort trying to turn $10K into $100K? Makes absolutely no sense.

The safest investment at this moment is not Gold, not silver, not Bitcoin, not oil and not real estate. The safest investment is US stocks.

@mirkobot420 @InvestingVisual Lol I just said the exact same thing in another response. It's unfortunate but that's probably what it takes. One big headline and suddenly everyone understands why it matters.

@StocksCashFlow @InvestingVisual I'm sorry to say, but it might (BIG might) take a major event (i.e. a security hack with data loss) with a RBRK customer to show people the importance of this company. It might also take a bigger player saying they are protected way better because of rubrik. I hope not.

$RBRK might be one of the most underappreciated cybersec names right now: • Revenue growth of 46% • 90% win rate vs legacy players • NRR of 120% And a stocks that's down🔻48% from it's peak.

@InvestingVisual This is what I think too. One major AI agent breach and suddenly everyone is scrambling for RBRK.

The last 6 months of the S&P 500 tell you everything you need to know. Choppy. Volatile. Scary headlines daily. But zoom out. Every dip has bounced. The market is still standing. The US economy has survived everything thrown at it and recovered every time. 10 years from now you won't remember the headlines. You'll remember whether you held or sold.

No matter what happens in the present, you must focus on the long term without restraint.

@CamCassidy Got you. That makes sense. Looked at the chain and should be pretty easy to roll out and up at a good premium. We still have a few days. You may not even need to do that once it expires worthless. Whichever direction it goes, you should be fine.

Wait…so you’re telling me $NBIS just locked in a $27 BILLION deal with $META on Monday… …and the stock is trading 11% lower a day later because of a convertible note offering to fund the buildout? And on top of that, the market is willing to pay me $534 to potentially buy 200 shares at $90 by 4/17 if it drops there? Yeah…I’ll take that all day. Thank you for the premium, Mr. Market. This is exactly why I love selling cash secured puts on big red days.

@FinancialPhys This is why I believe in taking profits. Put it in a different asset, or spend it on something you love and with people you love. It's okay to spend profits.
