Boys tennis lost 3-2 in a close match to Wakefield. Congrats to Nick Pace on a singles win 7-3, 6-0 as well as the doubles team of Jason Wong/Elisha Nossoughi who took it home in a 3rd set tie breaker 5-6, 6-3, 10-6.
Boys track didn’t get the result we wanted against Wakefield, but once again too many PRs to list! Also, Weston Bunnell jumps a PR and ties the school record in HJ at 6’7”! Final STO 48-Wake 79
Big night for Stoneham girls track last night- we lost 49-87 however we had some massive PRs including Siena C in javelin, all our 400m runners, almost all our 200m runners and lots more!
Stoneham girls lacrosse fell 18-8 to Lexington. We battled to keep the second half score 6-5 and won in the draws. Theresa Marshall (3G, 1A), Kelsey Bridges and Vivian Arria (2G), Michaela Henaghan (1G), Vivian Thompson and Caterina Pugliese (1A).
Boys tennis lost 4-1 to a very talented Belmont team. Congrats to Nick Pace on a singles victory. Nick showed amazing resilience as he came back from a 1st set tie break loss to take the match.
Bryce Leonard throws another complete game as the Spartans defeat Belmont by a score of 2-1. Mike Taranto and Bryce combined for the 2 RBIs in the first and that was enough. Huge win for Stoneham as they inch closer to a playoff spot!
Girls Tennis lost to Belmont today. Each match included some great shots and we continue to watch playing improve. Senior Radhika Patel filled in on second doubles, getting our best score of the day alongside her partner, Junior Kerry Henaghan.
Boys lax win 5-4 over the voke. This was a classic example of a team not playing well yet still pulling out a win.. the boys fought and scratched..

Stoneham girls track fought hard against Burlington and walked away with some strong PRs! Congrats to Kira C in the 400, CeCe T in Disc, Shot,& 100m, Quinn D in triple jump, and Isabel T in the 2 mile!
Girls Tennis lost to Wilmington today. One of our JV doubles teams, seniors Ruweyda and Mariacamila, won their set 6-2, in one of their last matches before graduating!
Boys tennis celebrated our senior night this evening vs. Wilmington. We would like to thank all of our seniors for their hard work, positive attitude, and sportsmanship they have displayed. They’ve made us all proud.

Anthony Puchelli played goalie again as our third goalie this year. Team battled hard and was winning 7-6 in the 4th. But we ran out of gas .
Our defense was impressive and faceoffs were better.

Girls Tennis lost to Lexington today. Despite the windy conditions, it was still a warm and beautiful day to play. We are especially proud of our JV player, freshman Sammy White, who stepped up to play 2nd Doubles. She and Oona Walsh had our best score of the day!
