Ironically, I was returning another wrong Temu order at Ulta and saw the exact same girlfaliure I referenced in this post. Haven’t seen her in over ten years and she had a kid. I acted like I didn’t notice her and went about my business, but I’m sure she noticed me. 😬🤮

Everyone wants a girlfaliure, but how many have actually BEEN with a real girlfaliure. The romanticized ideal and the harsh reality are two very different things. The reality was disgusting in my experience. 🤢

For those of you who don’t know, Nabari is a very quiet commuter town located next to Iga 🥷🏼 and home to the Akame 48 Waterfalls. I had the honor of living here for two years. I’m trying to ask friends for more details, but let’s be real, this was almost certainly malicious.

@politicalawake This is unforgivable. I used to visit this shrine a lot when I lived in Nabari. There is another building near the entrance torii that houses several ancient masks as well. I hope that at least survived.
English

@r230614_shin If only they could be burned at the stake in the same way.
English

@LkiXp75AA1IIrRp @politicalawake That makes sense. I hope they can rebuild the shrine as well. I am returning to Nabari to visit next year, so it would be nice to revisit this shrine that brought me peace. 😌⛩️

@StonehengePope @politicalawake

@harukaawake @r230614_shin This was where I lived for two years. The shrine was a place I frequented. I’m trying to find out more details from my friends there in Nabari.
English

@StonehengePope Who or what caused the fire in that shrine?
English

I am seriously pissed about Urufushine shrine being burned down. That was a place of peace for me in my solitude while I lived in Nabari. I cannot forgive the savages who go around destroying everything I love from the Japanese side of my heritage and culture. Time to blow off steam at the gym…

@bunburyoudoujp Yeah, I know who you speak of.
I’ll let you know if I hear anything else. Trying to reach out to actual people I know in the town on my insta.
English

I think there is a particular guy who is calling literally every fire that happens in Japan an arson attack and he is blaming the same group of people for each event.
I’m quite reluctant to believe such claims made by someone who is wrong about pretty much everything.
If actual evidence points to it, sure. Until then, this is a tragedy with an as yet undetermined cause.
English

@LkiXp75AA1IIrRp @politicalawake I’m glad! I remember seeing the masks in these cases. I believe some of them were used for the annual fire festival in the autumn? 🔥🍁
English

@bunburyoudoujp The witnesses believe so from what I have seen so far. There’s no risk of electrical fire for that building in particular from what they say. What are your thoughts? This one hits a little too close to home for me, so I’m quick to pick up the pitchfork.
English

I used to live five minutes away from this shrine and would visit it often during my time living in 名張市. This is unforgivable. There is a building near the entrance torii ⛩️ that houses dozens of ancient masks. It appears as though this at least survived, but the main shrine building has been destroyed by savages.

@tuuu28283 My personality is honor bound like the samurai. However, I used to live in the Iga 「伊賀市」area of 三重県, known for Iga clan 🥷🏼. My U.S. city is sister-cities with their rival clan Koga 「甲賀市」🥷🏼 in 滋賀, so I have ties to both clans. 🤣
