You're not wrong... Americans die from costs. Canadians die from waits. Neither system is what people think... both are mixed, truthfully. I say that as someone who's used both. Canada is way more mixed than the Michael Moores and AOCs of the world will tell you. Way more privatized costs than most Americans realize... and that's true about most of the "socialized" systems leftists like to champion. A lot of the most horrifying costs are hidden, and there is a lot of propaganda out there to keep you from seeing them. The honest question is which tradeoffs we want. Sorry about your situation.
