@Madelith__ Most of those don't translate it to other languages because they don't have the resources for it or because back when they released, there wasn't a market for them in the west. Also, Toby doesn't have to translate it! Devs usually don't have to do anything

@StormDaddy7 that is just not true, I play a lot of indie games and a lot are restricted to english, and that's fine. Like a lot of visual novels are only playable in japanese. I don't know why now there's such an outcry about a lot of art only being findable in one language.

@Madelith__ It's not kinda normal because he might be the only indie developer who has ever said this. He's the exception. 99% of devs don't think that way. Everyone's for accessibility and preservation of culture until an indie dev's worried about a comic sans joke being lost in translation

@StormDaddy7 the language is kinda normal. He could pay translators sure but knowing the language would make the translation a LOT more accurate and true to his vision, not a risk I would take either. And people will still buy his games

@JrrNot @Somniss @deathbian Nuclear bombs aren't detonated by impact. You could shoot a nuclear bomb or throw it down a cliff and it wouldn't detonate afaik. In fact, nuclear bombs don't even go off when they hit the ground. They detonate in the air for maximum impact
