I just want a moment to testify about the Lord. He is pouring out His grace and wisdom in the wake of His martyr Charlie Kirk.
My husband and I went on a date tonight to see a (bad) 80’s band at a local bar… we’ve lived here +12 years and never been to this place.
We met a man who looked like a comedian from the early 2000’s that we knew, we met because my husband introduced himself asking if he was the comedian we knew.
By the end of the night, I learned he was alone, his wife had cheated on him after many years, he had been going out alone for two years in our VERY small town.
My husband and I were the first to make a friendship with him.
Without being able to help myself (I love Jesus so much) I of course started talking about Jesus and his grace.
I talked about the many authors of the Bible and the span of time it was written as well as the space and continents it was written in.
And above all, His grace and John 3:16
I think. No, I know, we saved a man’s faith tonight, in a place we normally wouldn’t be.
In a crowd that we literally called fallen as we walked in the door. (We planned to go to dinner, not to drinks).
We knew we didn’t “fit in” with this crowd.
But God knew where we were needed and gave us the boldness to testify about His grace and mercy in such a place.
We left the night with hugs and blessings of His grace and goodwill.
God is working.
The Spirit is moving.
He is bringing us to those who needs us, we need to answer the call.
