Partly sunny for Saturday with afternoon highs surging into the low/mid 80s. There is a slight chance for a few late afternoon and even t-storms especially north and east. A "Marginal" Risk that a few storms in those areas could contain gusty wind and some hail.

Weekly Drought Monitor Update
Drought conditions continue across our viewing area ranging from Level 2 Moderate to Level 4 Extreme. The Extreme conditions now centered over McMinn Co while Bradley Co has eased down a category to Level 3 severe drought thanks to some much needed rain over the past week.
Rainfall for the year in Chattanooga is 3.50" below average. Since the start of March and Spring statistics, rainfall is close to average with 3.28" so far. #CHAwx #Chattanooga

Another cold night ahead with lows in the low/mid 30s, but many spots away from the city could have temperatures below the freezing mark.
A warming trend begins Thursday with mid 60s for the afternoon, then 70s for the first day of Spring on Friday.
