@highfreqhertz not that it matters, but is there any practical use for dragon's breath?

A lot of firearms regulations seem very similar to American drug regulations, i.e. based around irrational emotional responses rather than science. There are numerous cases where some dude dies, usually doing something stupid with a novel and otherwise extremely safe drug, resulting in some act named after the guy and extreme restrictions being put in place. But if, say, that same person was drinking and overdosed on alcohol, which is something that kills countless people every year, no one would bat an eye. Or, say, acetaminophen, which is the leading cause of liver failure? No one aside from family members would give two shits. Fearmongering is very powerful, and hardly anyone takes a step back to analyze their own emotional responses.
Now, granted in this case burning magnesium is a large fire risk, so I get some of the restrictions, but there’s a bunch of gun regulations where the argument seems to be solely “holy shit this is such a scary machine, it’s made of a black polymer, very tactical, I’m shittjng myself every day that it stays legal”. And some of the cited reasons for the banning of these rounds is “deep tissue burns”, among other BS reasoning, as if bullets weren’t literally designed to efficiently hurt people, this same retarded logic extends to many other exotic rounds, and it makes zero sense, pure hysteria.
I do think there are a good number of things that shouldn’t be legal, but there’s also a bunch of restrictions that are asinine and treat grown adults like children.
