@OneWayMusicX The Who Who's Next? "My Wife"
Gonna buy a tank and an aeroplane.
When she catches up with me, won't be no time to explain
She thinks I've been with another woman
And that's enough to send her half insane
Gonna buy a fast car put on my lead boots
And take a long, long drive

@SydneyYIMBY On average, more than 1,100 pedestrians are hit and injured or killed on roads in New South Wales (NSW) each year. Data for North Sydney Local Government Area (LGA) fluctuates, the broader Sydney metropolitan area, including North Sydney, is a high-risk zones for pedestrians.
@SydneyYIMBY If they got rid of the MLC building commuters could have walked underground from the metro entrance outside the North Sydney Council chambers to North Sydney station on Blue Street.
Instead they made the vanity decision just like the flower pots blocking a bus lane on Miller St
Simple solution to this: build more homes in North Sydney’s CBD.
But Council doesn’t want to do it because commercial pays higher rates than residential.
@4thOfJuly365 A Bouganvilia thorn. I did in 2022 and ended up with a Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus infection (mrsa)
I needed an operation under general anisthetic and 1400 antibiotics pills over 6 weeks
@lippyent James Garner and Donald Pleasence The Great Escape

@ShishKebab2k Haven't lived there for 35 years and that stairway up from Queen Street via Durham Street West up to the District Court on Albert Street is still there.
My grandson found this in a textbook we bought at Halfprice Books. He asked me if this is “what library cards looked like”, but I actually don’t know what it might be from. Any clue? There is nothing on the back.
@Acyn Victors write history.
The USA developed Napalm in the second world war they used incendiaries against civilian populations in Japan, Korea and VietNam.
They burned whole cities to the ground in North Korea 10% of the population died.
Reporter: Deliberate attacks on civilian infrastructure violate the Geneva conventions and international law.
Trump: Who are you with?
Reporter: I'm with the New York Times
Trump: Failing New York Times. Circulation is way down.
Reporter: Are you concerned that your threat to bomb power plants and bridges amount to war crimes?
Trump: No, not at all. These are disturbed people. Quiet. You no longer have credibility. You’re fake.
@goddek Blame the Vietnam war, if you stayed in college you didn't get drafted so lots of arts people stayed in college and got law degrees.
As a result America became a very litigious country with people suing for spilling hot coffee, getting injured having sex on railway tracks etc.
@Nazumejud I saw this at the theatre its part of a comedy spoof of about 16 channel/scene changes where Amazon Women on the Moon is one of the channels

@TheKanehB Well 20th March was the vernal equinox and the subsolar zenith passed the equator. The next full moon is April 1 and we get a blue moon at the end of May.
Gravity has an affect even though geologists won't admit it. The next Perigee for the moon will be 2034 expect earthquakes.
The Earthquake Prediction Team is saying there will be a big one in CA next week
They aren’t affiliated w any gov group so they aren’t “scientifically recognized” but they have had some “luck” predicting before
