In honor of my son, I am committed to educating expectant families about the importance of tracking their baby's movement so they get to watch their child grow up. @MomSurvivor

On July 3, 2010 my son Zach was stillborn at 38 weeks due to an undiagnosed placental abruption. Every day I am painfully aware that I will never get to see him grow up.

Then I heard the sentence that I never thought was possible at 37 weeks. “I’m so sorry, there is no heartbeat”. The finality of that statement still shakes me to this day. @jasminekashani

I had the perfect pregnancy, but the ending was tragic. When I asked about kick counting, I was told if baby is active don’t worry about it. So I didn’t. I called Qasem my little ninja. So when it took an entire day for me to realize he wasn’t kicking, I got checked out.

I believe there is a gap in stillbirth prevention education. I use my voice as a resource to help make sure more families are educated when it comes to preventative care and hope that it help save more babies. - Jasmine Hammonds of Alabama

1 preventable stillbirth is too many. 1 saved baby means there could be more. An evidence-based tool that enables parents' understanding of fetal movement and empowers them with visible data in order to obtain life-saving intervention is worth every effort. @DawnVCollins

Stillbirth prevention education helps moms do what they can by educating them on the importance of knowing their baby’s normal movement patterns, but I also believe we need more from the medical establishment.

My beautiful baby girl, Addison died because of a knot in her umbilical cord. She was just 8 days from her due date. I believe there are too many preventable cord accidents.- Heather Greene of North Carolina

@Y2BUnique “Too much MISinformation roams out in the world. We MUST arm a New Mom, inform an 'Again' Mom, educate ALL Moms and Birthing Persons with correct information and evidence-based information TO save Baby Lives.”

Parents should not have to be lucky to bring their baby home alive. They should be empowered and educated with stillbirth prevention information. #stillbirthstories Amanda Braverman of Wisconsin

On June 9, 2011, my life changed forever when my son Bryce was born still at 37 weeks due to a true knot in the umbilical cord. No family should have to endure the pain of losing a child. @noranicholson #StillbirthStories

That is MORE than we lose to infant mortality, but no one is talking about it. I WANT CHANGE. By simply educating moms on how to self-monitor their babies’ movements during their third trimester has decreased the stillbirth rate in Iowa by 32% over the past decade.

My name is Tiffan Yamen of Des Moines, Iowa. We lost our daughter at the very end of a full term, healthy pregnancy because her umbilical cord was knotted. Tragically, every year in the U.S. we lose more than 23,000 babies to stillbirth. on families across our country.

Grace was bathed, swaddled and handed to my husband, Luke. We baptized her and tried to pack a lifetime of love and stories into a few hours. We planned a funeral before we were 30. I wrote Grace a letter, and Luke and my dad went to the funeral home to pick out her casket.
