@StraightRedCTFC The thing is wasn’t 2 lads having a bit of banter - it was going to come under scrutiny- and the FA were bound to have an interest- I also believe that student journos have be mindful of legal frameworks etc - these things are best not rushed

@peterbellamy @NickHilton17 He didn’t talk about his departure. The podcast will never be aired and we won’t discuss what was said on it in any detail. It’s a real shame. People can and will speculate on it I’m sure.

@NickHilton17 And that’s not meant to sound arrogant sorry. If there’s an answer we’d be genuinely interested to know. We felt completely comfortable doing this.

@NickHilton17 Legal advice for what? They approached us as they wanted to get their side of the story out. We were simply the platform. We were totally independent and unbiased. How/why as the hosts and proving a microphone could we be challenged?

@NickHilton17 Yep and again we were surprised to some extent we got so close to be honest, but decided to run the course anyway. To be rug pulled so close is a shame. More info in next podcast 👍

@StraightRedCTFC I was surprised that this interview would be going ahead before the outcome of the FA findings were released - it was an absolute no brainer for me that advice would have been taken before proceeding.

@bruceywells @RyanwFWA @FA @EFL Worked at the club for 6 seasons, then commented at games for visually impaired fans for 5 seasons after that. One stretch of over 200 consecutive home games. Hundreds of hours creating fans podcasts = does not qualify as fan 👍 lols

@RyanwFWA @FA @EFL Wouldn’t really class these guys as fans. They’ve returned at a time where they know they can get lots of clicks. Not doubting there is a section of our fans who will back Yems to the hilt though.
