Just so Riftbound players know. If you start banning cards now you will set the precedent forever. One of the things I hate in MTG right now is the community assumption and conversation is ALWAYS about banning the best deck regardless of need because of previous precedent.

Ended 10-3 which was good for 42nd place and a regional invite at #RQVegas. I won the first and only skirmish I played, then qualified at the first qualifier I played, riftbound is just that easy I guess! Kidding aside I’m having a great time with Riftbound and excited to queue.

What are the weirdest card interactions or most surprising plays you've seen in Standard? Examples: - Mockingbird copying an earthbended land - Kaito ninjitsuing Kaito for more planeswalker activations - Bouncing Floodpits Drowner with Spider-Sense in response to shuffling

@karsten_frank @fireshoes There was a judge call in Spotlight Atlanta that claimed differently. I think it’s because it enters then there is a trigger putting X counters and drawing X cards, unlike a lot of creatures that enter with X counters

@Straight_Shade @fireshoes The X for Mockingbird's cost is not linked to Wan Shi Tong's ETB trigger, right? I don't think you would add any counters or draw any cards.

Made Day 2 at #RQVegas at 6-2, game is fun, but man 12+ hours for 8 rounds is a lot. Hopefully as more of these tournaments happen people get more comfortable with the pace of play needed to complete the match. Now it’s time to try and get my regional qualification!

@TEAM__TISM All I want is for it to fit in my deckbox similar to the life cards that heavy play has. If the heavy play life cards weren’t so expensive for what they are they would be great imo

Question for all my followers, What feature do you all really like/want on a life pad? Doing some market research.

@Jaraoh90 Yeah most limited content is just like power rankings and archetype explanations and you’re kind of on your own when looking at a sealed pool or during the draft.

@Straight_Shade All super valid points! My concern was that limited play is so much more scarce with opportunities in general and that even inside the draft there are enough variables that I think coaching would be more about conceptualizing ideas than "I made this pick, and was rewarded, etc"

@Jaraoh90 So I think it’s certainly something that a lot of people would benefit from, i don’t know if it’s something that would be popular or not though

@Jaraoh90 I think because the current OP system doesn’t make you draft until your first PT there’s a real big hole in a lot of players (including me) in limited. I remember at the limited meeting our team had just being dumbfounded at how far ahead some players were at limited
