@TimegazerStudio I definitely agree there could/should be more to the accomplice route. I’d love to see something that unlocks/creates a sort of Magatsu-Izanagi-no-Okami

If I were in charge of it and I only get 3 [TIME UNITS] to use, I'd reimplement social link reversals/in-story make-up scenes, a la Kenji, take all the fetch quests and make them dungeon sub-bosses, and add a unique dungeon for the accomplice route. I am not one for limits, but optimization.

They ended up deleting this tweet because it turned out to be a lie, but like...dang, could you imagine if Revival HAD done that? So many opportunities for new character dynamics. They could have changed the killer, had new party members, a whole new adventure.

@TimegazerStudio I imagine most people playing Revival played Golden, especially since they’re available on the same console. I can personally envision a world where Revival could have been more than “P4 but looks and plays like Reload” but you seem to be limiting yourself

I don't know what new players did in VV as a rule. I know many were asking which route is more complete to pick one. But each route has new gameplay, and SMT V has branches other than good end/bad end. More importantly, there are around 8 distinct builds at parity in terms of time to kill in VV, plus variants. I personally played the Vengeance route, and then started up a new run, same route, with a different build. I have no idea about DR, and P3P is a case, where, unlike VV, I imagine most who played it already came from FES. P3P has major gameplay changes from FES.

@TimegazerStudio Look at what Danganronpa 2x2 is doing. Heck, for a MegaTen example, look at what SMTV: Vengeance did Having an alternate story path opens up a LOT of possibility beyond “a few different dialogues here and there” Plus hey, it worked for Portable

@Strain42 Unless there's new dungeon content, it's a bit of a waste. Imagine coming to a game with very little build depth/variety for the first time and feeling compelled to play it twice for a few different dialogues here and there.

I genuinely think we'll get Persona Q3 after Persona 6 comes out and it'll be so interesting seeing it utilize the actors from Reload and Revival

Genuinely one of the strangest bits of redpill lore. The obsession with hobbies is so weird, the assertion that women only acquire hobbies from men is so baffling. Like, it's both so lacking in any real stakes and also so obviously untrue. Very weird.

It could start really small. Mitsuo hits on you instead of Yukiko. The group actually finds Saki in the TV. The FeMC actually meets Sho, who canonically was watching all of P4 unfold, a certain someone actually awakens to their Izanagi. Amazing possibilities here!

@divinium86 I think it's fair to say it's more nuanced than that. What you're describing is basically what happened here and many people call these the worst Pokemon games ever made. It's definitely possible to be faithful to a fault.
