Don’t book room at the @StrandPalace in London cause if ur plans change due to circumstances beyond your control ie a global pandemic they won’t refund u+a voucher is not ideal when u don’t know if u can #travel,friend gutted 2lose all that money,I thought they’d do better #covid

@StrandPalace even 7 months ahead, with a show postponed due to covid you are sticking to non refundable no changes. I didn’t want to cancel - I asked to change due to covid. But NO ! Pathetic. Really ??? Harsh and pathetic

I cannot self-quarantine for 14 days for a 5 day trip! Plus this negates the whole reason of the trip for vacation/leisure travel. Please rectify this @StrandPalace as I’ve been contacting you and the flagrant indifference is disheartening for travelers.

Due to the new redflag list that the US has been put on, its still highly impossible and improbable to travel to the UK for leisure for Americans. I booked in Jan 2020 @StrandPalace and they are disregarding the current pandemic issues for many.

@StrandPalace My original reservation was for a time when the hotel was closed. I rebooked but because of restrictions cannot come. Now hotel is charging me a fee to rebook and telling me if I still cannot come I forfeit the money. Really? We are in the middle of a pandemic!

With just over two weeks until we welcome back our first guests, we will no longer accept cash as a form of payment. As part of our measures to keep you safe whilst at the hotel, all major credit & debit cards are accepted as methods of payment and deposit.
