Baby is proxy for other things. Having a baby means being an adult. Being an adult means being invisible and doing thankless daily tasks and duties you can’t expect to get credit for. Modern people, especially modern women, cannot bear the thought of being invisible. Hence the constant public disclosures of private things and feelings that you should keep to yourself in the name of “raising awareness” and “breaking stigmas.”

And yes a couple of middle aged, single women did more to advance the Gospel and Christ’s kingdom in the lowliest of circumstances than any of these men; Spangler, Stephan Wolfe, Webbon, Conn… could ever do as they seek a higher status for themselves.

Like I am actually sick to my stomach that men like this call themselves Christians… that they claim to love Christ. That watchmaking family in the Netherlands has done more to advance Christ’s kingdom that most of us ever will.

What an utterly depraved statement from Spangler. Satanic, honestly… twisting everything into sounding like some sort of righteous zeal while he shows disgust for a Christian family who risked their lives and even died. Reflecting Christ’s sacrificial love for us through their own love for others.

That’s… that’s not what makes an artist good at all…

I think some things people are missing about art is… that the novelty and comparative rarity is part of the value of art. There is a reason people still like paintings even when photography exists. It’s like… many carpenters were replaced by factory manufacturing in the Industrial Revolution, but the chairs churned out by the factories are not seen as art, whereas the work of a carpenter still is. Generative AI works much like this but because what they are threatening to “replace” is something already less utilitarian in the first place than a chair or a cabinet, since people want art purely for its own sake, the sheer amount of “content” people are producing with AI is honestly likely to only make my art more valuable by comparison. So I don’t need to churn it out with maximum efficiency, I need to hone my skills further to set myself apart from the dross even more.
