This week P6 @StranmillisPS took part in a hockey workshop with @MethodyBelfast students to practise their skills and most importantly, have fun and connect. Thank you @MethodyBelfast @MCB_girlshockey @MCB_Boys_Hockey

Last week P1 @StranmillisPS enjoyed a visit from ‘Wee Bugs and Beasties’ as part of their Bug topic. This was a fantastic opportunity for the children to have a hands on experience with some of nature’s wonderful creatures. @BugsAndBeasties

P5-P7 used their map reading skills to complete a numeracy treasure around Stranmillis @Ed_Authority

P1 - P4 enjoyed our numeracy scavenger hunts, making use of natural materials @Ed_Authority

P4 enjoyed learning about birds of prey on Friday! They got to meet a barn owl, a pelican falcon, an African spotted eagle owl and a Harris’s hawk! Thank you to Ian Patterson for visiting our school with these amazing birds.@Ed_Authority

Celebrating all the pupils who won sporting trophies this year. Stranmillis PS won a total of nine titles, in football, cross country & hockey. This is a fantastic achievement, and we are very proud of all the children who were part of these teams @AthleticsNI @IrishFA
