It's June, which means it's time for the North Western Modelers at the Railroad Museum of Long Island on June 27th and 28th! Gauge 1, HO/OO, Miniature Train Rides, and 39,s 97th Birthday Bash will all be happening this weekend! We hope to see you there!

@dumbidiot45 To print the model, I ran down to the Levittown Public Library and made an appointment for 3D Printing and after hours it was done.

And this completes my ho scale custom strasburg Thomas! He took me a couple months and was the first serious model I’ve made, and I think I did pretty good! There’s places I could do better but for my first serious model I’m pretty proud! I’ll make a thread on how I made him ;)

@dumbidiot45 I used Elmer's glue stick to glue the decals onto Thomas because they were made out of regular paper and yeah.

@dumbidiot45 The real reason why I brought a Rivarossi 0-6-0 Saddle tank switcher for the Ho Scale Strasburg Thomas is because i didn't had enough money for a Bachmann Spectrum Ho Scale 0-6-0 Saddle Tank Switcher chassis on Bachmann's Parts site for $110.

@dumbidiot45 How I made this, that's a good question Leb, I used this O Gauge Strasburg Thomas shell and size it down in Tinkercad to Ho Scale and brought a Rivarossi 0-6-0 Saddle tank switcher for $30 at Nassau Hobby Center at the warehouse sale.
