@Spl_Reecey Is there not just a problem inherent in the fact that they're hiding their identities as they enter a tournament? There are safety implications of that. They could be players who have been perma-banned for a long time.

Maybe I'm a bit too woke but I think EU players pulling up to NA league is valid given our entire region has been eating shit since the dawn of Splatoon and every official tournament we WERE allowed to play in was either worlds or had very unnecessary restrictions

@redshell15 The thing that's so frustrating is that squid-rolling, especially off walls, creates even more complexity, but the maps still offer fewer options even with squid-rolling on the table. Too narrow, not enough paintable walls, too few routes to choose etc. etc.

I’ve been in 6 major community scenes over the past 22 years…as in, Smash Bros + 5 others. This happens everywhere, and the reason you see it most in Smash is because the Smash scene is the most proactive in doing ANYTHING about it. Which gets the scene villified, ironically.
