Lou and ABC didn't agree on contract terms, OS didn't want a LI, TM didn't want him back... We don't know the reason why he wasn't in S9. All we know is that he was willing for more and it's frustrating bc on a different show things probably would have played out very differently

abundantly clear @CBSTVStudios @paramountplus moved forward with this and canceled ncis: tony & ziva the same day. the show was a giant success, and cheap. it was a surefire season 2-- until suddenly, CBS saw a quick way to focus on a random LA character instead. #SaveTonyandZiva
