@RyZon360 I mean, according to my logic, the "new ending" will be the same, but it will take into account the compilation, the same way as in games itself, I just don't call it a "new ending".
What does the "new ending" have to show in your opinion?

Okay, people are going around saying "the ending in part 3 will be different." How?
How is the original ending "wrong", that needs to be changed besides obvious Aerith's fate?
And don't give me this "space cancer" thing, people survived 500 years later

@StrawderryST I personally am with the “different ending team” and without any toxicity whatsoever i think they could make an ending that could fit with AC and DOC, OG ending is not wrong it’s a great ending for the game but it does not really end the serie given that there is AC and DOC after

We just don't have the element that explains how they got rid of the stigma, but they did.

@StrawderryST that’s literally their reason. they want a different ending that prevents AC and DoC from happening because there’s another conflict (Geostigma and Sephiroth)

I feel like this is as clear cut as it can be without him outright saying "don't expect any major changes to the story", which he obviously won't say.

I don't even like Zack's presence in Rebirth because it made the Aerith-Cloud-Zack relationship weird for me, but I just love watching his haters get angry

Not to rain on any parades but judging by Squares projected earnings this FY - until March 2027 I believe - they either don’t have THAT much faith in FFVII Part 3 or we won’t be seeing it until April 2027 at a minimum
