Notice anything about Victor Wembanyama’s first 3 seasons? Year 1: 21.4 PPG | 10.6 RPG | 3.9 APG | 3.6 BPG Year 2: 24.3 PPG | 11.0RPG | 3.7 APG | 3.8 BPG Year 3: 24.2 PPG | 11.3 RPG | 3.0 APG | 3.1 BPG

You can argue the years, but we all know LeBron should have won more than 5 MVPs

Victor Wembanyama's MVP odds have risen by 23% over his last 3 games played: March 21 ➡️ 4% ▪️ 20/8/6/1/5 vs the Pacers March 23 ➡️ 5% ▪️ 26/15/4/0/5 vs the Heat ▪️ explained why he deserves MVP post-game March 25 ➡️ 8% ▪️ 19/15/3/3/7 vs the Grizzlies March 28 (today) ➡️ 27%

NBA.com’s updated MVP Ladder: 1. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander 2. Victor Wembanyama 3. Nikola Jokić 4. Luka Dončić 5. Cade Cunningham 6. Donovan Mitchell 7. Jaylen Brown 8. Anthony Edwards 9. Kawhi Leonard 10. Jalen Johnson

Mate I think it’s completely fair to hand the MVP to someone who has this effect, not sure why it’s controversial

Lakers Anthony Davis was a top 5 (at least) defensive player in the league. He was also a top tier offensive big man. How come he was never forced into MVP talks?

The “Wemby’s total minutes” convo seems silly to me considering he’s 2nd in total +/- in the NBA. He’s accomplishing a hell of a lot more on the scoreboard per minute than anyone else this year. By the way, SGA is #1 on that list. Feels right to me that they’re 1 & 2 for MVP.

Jalen Duren says Ausar Thompson is a LOCK for DPOY 🔒 “He’s Defensive Player of the Year for sure. What he does to ball-handlers, harassing guys and getting through screens, is unreal. He does it so effortlessly night-to-night that it’s kind of like you get used to it. Even like us, we get used to everything he does to where if he has a lapse or anything it’s kind of like, ‘What happened?’ You expect him to be Superman.” (Via @omarisankofa )
