He oído que StreamElements posiblemente cierre y tengo todos mis widgets, alertas y demás con ellos. Así que he creado mi propio sistema, de momento son alertas sencillas, que pueden editarse vía HTML, CSS y JS. Faltan imágenes y sonido custom... pero oye, funcionan!

Ugh, this @StreamElements stuff reminded me why I moved to @MixItUpApp & eventually to @streamerdotbot … The only downside is that my mods can’t access these to do things on the back end & not clog up chat. Does anybody have a work around for this?

@tr1optimum @elgato It is being worked on. Someone made an extension has a temporary work around until it is in the bot natively

Hey @elgato when can we expect @streamerdotbot to connect with 3.0? My bots need access to the channels...

@streamerdotbot I’ve been using SB for 6 ish months now I wanna say, some things are still in stream elements, like quotes, n chat timers even some commands are yet, and stream elements loyalty points. How hard is it to do the export, then the import?

@GrimTh3Guy @MeepsKitten @BarleyTheBurr Of course I'll answer. The truth is it's so low that it's basically immeasurable in almost all cases. If you have 10s of thousands of viewers than there is one tab (the viewers tab) that can get resource heavy but you can just turn it off.

Seeing rumors that StreamElements might be shutting down, and if that's the case, I don't know what I'll do. I refuse to use StreamLabs for stream notification overlays, so... anyone got any alternatives they can recommend?

@radiooptimism We are a local bot so we dont "host" alerts. The webm file would sit on your PC, you would have a media source in OBS/Meld, and the bot would tell OBS/Meld "Show the source for X amount of seconds and then turn it off again"

@streamerdotbot hey ya’ll, question from someone who has used StreamElements since its inception. Does your program support alerts using .Webm files? Also, are there any alert options available for tips/donations, or is that dependent on an external platform?

@SidoHikami If you are using MIU and like it, keep using it. No need to use both. Sure, we have some advantages (and I am sure MIU does too) but we love all bots and just like that you are using one of them.

Honestly ya’ll not gonna have any alerts from me for a while if I gotta learn a new system lol I still barely understand MixItUp and I’ve had it for 9 months 🤣

@RaealTV People think I'm nuts but I send 50/month to @streamerdotbot ; think I'm about to come up on my 1 year anniversary.

The StreamElements situation shows that I think a lot of people take these services for granted. Without these services we wouldn't have the integrations we do, and I think it's important to recognize that often times we get to use those services for free. If you're a streamer and passionate about what you do, I would highly consider supporting the services you use. If they have a Patreon, support it. These services can't be around forever as long as they aren't getting the support they need.

Since StreamElements seems to be going down soon, now is the perfect time to import all your watchtime and loyalty points data over to Streamer.bot (which runs fully locally btw, so it'll only ever go down if all your hardware and backups die)
