Don't you know!? Fnaf hid it's lore and spread it throughout years of games. Now that's the blueprint set in motion and now kids WANT that. Markiplier went off and did his movie things for years. He just didn't get the memo of what he helped create with FNAFs popularity. (Only half serious)

The reaction I keep seeing with Poppy Playtime and Marks reaction to it is "if he cared more about the lore he would appreciate the game more", meanwhile the lore is locked behind easy to miss video and audio tapes throughout the facility. If the lore is so integral to your total understanding of what's going on and you make them that easy to miss or pass over by accident, you did a shit job at your storytelling.
