@Stroodey Exactly. It's something every long term successful trader learns early. Then they learn how to size up.

As a trader for over 15 years, I can tell you (from experience) what causes the most failure. Almost no one ever talks about it, because nearly everyone gets it wrong. It's not your strategy. It's not your stop loss placement. It's your position sizing. As rule of thumb, if your account balance is less than the cost of a high end sports car, you're probably trading with too much size. If you're struggling, take a month and size down. Report back with your findings.

First payout in like two months to be honest with you. Went from 10-30k months last year, to actually net negative or breakeven end of last year into this year. It is humbling for sure to hit rock bottom, but that hasn’t stopped me. Sticking to micros, and a few accounts at a time to build my confidence and my trading porfolio back up. If I can do it again in the past, what’s stopping me for continue to doing it. Just a little rough little patch down the road, but I will continue to push forward. Your strategy probably isn’t the problem. You keep rushing into trades before price gives you the setup. Patience is the edge. Wait for price. Don’t chase it.
