Grand rising, janissaries Today is day 37 of my drosera content series Today, I will be writing on how @DroseraNetwork is building a live, decentralized defense layer that actively monitors and prevent DeFi exploits before they happen Walk with me🧵 #Web3Security #WorldDrosera

Grand rising janissaries 🧡 Today is day 36 of my drosera content series @DroseraNetwork isn’t waiting for exploit to happen It watches every block, detects early signals and acts before damage is done From reactive security to proactive defense This is security at its finest

I was also among the new set of people who were assigned the Dliever role in the @DlicomApp server. Like it was said, it’s only the first step. we’ll do more. And congratulations to my boss, @JustSamm020, on getting the DCO role. It’s only up from here.

Web3 Has a Security Problem >> And It's Getting Worse Over $20 billion has been lost to hacks, exploits, and fraud across Web3 since 2011. Smart contracts pass multiple audits and still get drained. Bridges get emptied overnight. Governance systems get manipulated. The attacks aren't slowing down, they're accelerating. The core problem isn't careless developers or broken technology. It's that Web3 has been applying an outdated security mindset to a modern threat environment. Audits are snapshots, they can't account for new attack vectors discovered after deployment. Bug bounties are passive and unpredictable. Manual monitoring by development teams is the most fragile of all: a flash loan attack can drain a protocol faster than a human can read a notification. Web3 needs something built for machine-speed threats. That's what Drosera Network is. @DroseraNetwork is a decentralised security infrastructure layer that introduces on-chain detection modules called Traps. Developers deploy Traps to monitor specific threat conditions, unusual transaction spikes, suspicious function call sequences, abnormal token flows. When a Trap detects a threat, it doesn't send an alert and wait for a human response. It fires an automated defensive action directly on-chain: pausing a contract, blocking a transaction, or alerting the operator network, all at blockchain speed. The system is maintained by a decentralised network of independent operators, meaning there's no central server to take offline and no single point of failure. Unlike most Web3 security tools, which are centralised services guarding decentralised systems, Drosera is philosophically and architecturally aligned with Web3 itself. Detection logic lives on-chain, transparent and auditable. The economic case is equally clear. A major DeFi exploit costs tens of millions of dollars and often destroys user trust permanently. A Drosera security layer costs a fraction of that. As institutional capital flows into Web3 with traditional due diligence standards, protocols with continuous, automated security systems hold a meaningful competitive advantage. Web3's future, spanning finance, healthcare, identity, and governance, demands infrastructure that never sleeps. Drosera is building exactly that: security that is proactive, decentralised, and autonomous.

POV: Everyone is chasing attention. But you’re quietly building leverage. No noise. No announcements. No validation. Just skill stacking, pattern spotting, and timing your moves. By the time they notice, you’re already ahead. That's basically @DlicomApp for you

@nesaorg 5 Nesa doesn’t just return an answer, it returns proof. Each output is backed by cryptographic verification, ensuring the result is correct and hasn’t been tampered with. This makes Nesa: Private by default Verifiable by design Horizontally scalable by architecture

Most AI today runs on a simple assumption: trust the server. But that creates a problem; your data, prompts, and outputs often pass through centralized systems that can see, store, or misuse them @nesaorg changes this by removing the need to trust any single server entirely 🧵

@nesaorg 4 The inference itself happens in a decentralized, privacy-preserving way Even while computation is happening: Inputs remain encrypted No node has full visibility The system collaboratively produces a result without revealing sensitive data It’s computation without exposure

@nesaorg 3 Instead of sending your request to one powerful machine, Nesa splits the AI model into smaller parts. These parts are distributed across multiple independent nodes in the network. Each node only processes a fragment of the model never the full system.

@nesaorg 2 Here’s how it works. When you submit an AI request on Nesa, your query is first encrypted before it even enters the network. No node, operator, or system ever sees your full input in plain form. From the start, privacy is built into the process not added later.

Happy Sunday fam Let me tell you a quick story. So, Maria had been in the space for three years. She wasn't a whale and she wasn't a developer. She was a nurse in Brazil who spent six months reading about lending protocols before she finally felt confident enough to deposit. $4,200. Everything she had saved outside of rent. She chose the protocol carefully. Audited twice. Strong TVL. Active community. She went to bed that night feeling good about it. At 2:47am her time, she was already asleep, someone executed a single transaction on that protocol. By 2:51am, the pool was empty. She found out at 7am. Coffee in hand and a telegram notification. The worst part? The signals were there. Reserve liquidity had been moving strangely for six blocks. The borrow rate had spiked beyond anything market conditions explained. The oracle price had drifted quietly while everyone slept. • Three signals. • Six blocks. • Enough time for an automated system to catch it. But there was no automated system. Just a team, asleep in a different timezone, waiting for an alert that came four minutes too late. Maria's $4,200 was never recovered. Not because the developers weren't smart or because the auditors weren't thorough. But because the infrastructure to protect her didn't exist yet. Well, it does now. That is @DroseraNetwork. The mainnet is live, and you can now set automated traps for your protocols. Hope your Sunday is going well? 😊 Have a great week guys @BjornAgnesi

6 Some real scenarios 👇 • Stablecoin de-peg → Automatically rebalance treasury assets • Bridging operations → Execute transfers at optimal block conditions • Vault updates → Trigger strategy shifts based on validator consensus This is security that reacts with precision.

The Ethereum ecosystem is expanding rapidly, bringing with it thousands of DeFi protocols, and billions in value. But growth comes with a cost: a larger attack surface Security can no longer be reactive. It must evolve A thread on how drosera is redefining incident response🧵

Lending protocols sit at the core of DeFi, powering borrowing, leverage, and capital efficiency at scale But with billions in user funds locked in smart contracts, they’ve also become prime targets for attackers exploiting speed, complexity and weak assumptions in the system 🧵

4 One of Drosera’s biggest strengths is collaboration. It creates an environment where: Developers Security researchers …can actively work together to identify risks and design response mechanisms. Security becomes collective intelligence, not isolated effort.
