@Strxtego @Topside9digits @FLOSSNY Bron improved his 3pts since it became a thing. Elite players will adapt and evolve their game. Mind you Luka career 3pt% is 35% and he’s still elite offensively

RIP Kobe
RIP Kobe@81PointKobe·
@Strxtego @FLOSSNY I can tell you weren’t watching in 06 and that’s ok. Luka has LBJ, AR, Ayton an a way better supporting cast than Kobe did. Kobe was double or triple teamed on nearly every possession. Kwame/Smush/Luke Walton were pushing 30 min a game. 06 Kobe wins it all with Luka’s teammates.

@sportshead2024 @FLOSSNY They also had the 2nd best defense with Kobe off the court and the 25th ranked defense with him

@Strxtego @FLOSSNY Sure, hey, he's great- and it helps that his 2nd/3rd options are Austin Reaves and LeBron. Kobe's were Lamar Odom and Smush Parker, and he did it while being 1st team all defense that season.

@Strxtego @FLOSSNY That it's easier than ever to score in the modern NBA. So, sure, Luka scores more on the same number of shots- but so does the NBA in general. The current average TS% is 58. In 2006 the average TS% was 53.6, so Kobe's efficiency for such a high usage was impressive in that era.

@Strxtego @FLOSSNY Sure, and the league scoring average when Kobe did it was 97ppg, versus 115ppg now. Kobe and Luka would both be elite in any era, but one played in the dead ball era and one is playing in the juiced ball era.

@Strxtego @FLOSSNY 3pa matter lol. If kobe was attempting 6 more 3s and two more free throws a game, I guarantee he averages 40 lol what are we talking about

@FLOSSNY Now give Kobe today's pace, spacing, and limitations on defenders. He'd average 45 ppg, no exaggeration.

Ruined the NBA cuz you didn’t want to let the man see his daughters
NBACentral@TheDunkCentral

Luka Dončić is reportedly in a custody battle and hasn’t seen his daughters since December, per @mcten During a Dec. 6 visitation in Slovenia, Luka Dončić reportedly asked to bring his daughter back to the U.S. before rejoining the Lakers in Philadelphia. A dispute followed and police were called, but officers found no wrongdoing. Dončić returned to the U.S. later that day and hasn’t seen his daughters since.

@BallBrotherPts @jordankobewade7 No, but y'all blame LeBron for finals losses with bad teams while ignore that Kobe and MJ never won a single playoff series without Shaq/Pau/Pippen

“Defenses would go under pack the paint and punish him for being a mid range specialist unless he could read modern defenses at elite levels” Another dumb quote by Petey who doesn’t have a clue. Here is MJ 38-40 old slower no lift. Against modern defenses.

The "LeBron is one of the most clutch players ever" narrative should have ended after the 2011 Finals. Final 5 minutes of close games: Dirk Nowitzki - 26 points LeBron James - 0 points Zero points in the biggest moments of the biggest series.

That’s 32 PPG on 21 FGA with 65 TS%. Jordan never hit 65 TS% in any high‑volume season & his efficiency peaked around 60–61 TS% when scoring 30+ Kobe never even reached 60 TS% in a 30+ PPG season. Curry’s 2016 campaign is the only one that legitimately rivals 2014 KD on the same terms: 30.1 PPG, 20.2 FGA, 66.9 TS%
