@Chronotope Perhaps, and feel free to call me crazy, but perhaps Google might not feel so threatened on the Search Engine Front if they made sure their search engine ... actually worked properly?

This is shitty and monopolistic of Google. In a way tho it is extremely exciting because it means that Google feels threatened in the one area it seemed to have a full lock on dominance. Alternative Search engines have become popular enough to cause Google to freak out like this.

Oh, and I recently spent an ungodly number of hours making sure that all the posts from the Instagram now live happily on VintageRPG.com -- big photo files, usable search and over HALF A MILLION words commenting on RPGs.

@UnwinnableDavid @tauriqmoosa I think complicating this is the corporate-produced "lore", which a lot of folks see as being as much D&D as the mechanics. I think that TSR/WotC lore is often troubling, but I don't think folks are required to play with the toys that way, and lots of 3rd party folks concur.
