@SrcasticGamer @PlayStation I mean... How? The way this is described, it's not killing the disc, just making it so you don't need to insert the disc once digitized (unless you lend to someone, you'd need to insert to transfer the license back). This sounds like a cool way to reduce wear.

Is Xbox trying to eliminate all physical copies from their environment? If this rumor is true, your physical copy will be worthless and unplayable once you digitize your copy. This is worse than what @Playstation is doing, and all XBOX PLAYERS should be extremely upset about it. All console companies are intentionally pushing the whole market to digital gaming, to close systems, for more control and exploitation of their customers. And last but not least, Playstation players are not going to be more upset, we all must unite, Playstation and Xbox players, to stop this abuse and exploitation of gamers!
