So was the Blaze in Sonic Rush the same Blaze as in Sonic 06? Did they ever explain that? I always thought the simplest answer would be there are two versions of Blaze that exist, Future Blaze and Sol Blaze My unpopular opinion: its still really lame they never explained this

@CitrusPress Maria's illness is kind of a special case. SA2 has a LOT of hidden story, especially regarding how Gerald tampered with Shadow's memories, so theoretically the version of Maria that Shadow remembers was... edited. But again, there's tons of localization issues.

@StuddlyOfficial to be fair i can understand why because this series tends to retcon or flat out omit out stuff like maria's illness? that's only mentioned in jp ver of sa2 manual, it's not present in eng ver at all and it took until shadow gens to elaborate what her illness is like

@CitrusPress For Blaze though, I think there's two possibilities. 1. There's simply two seperate versions of her. A Sol dimension version and another from Sonic's dimension in the future 2. Theres only one Blaze, and time travel shenanigans transported her to Sonic's world in the future.

@CitrusPress So... if you wanna trust the game manuals for 06, that's fine. You do you, I can't blame you. But we're going to need to agree to disagree because Sonic game manuals have consistently been disregarded too many times for me to trust anything outside of the game.

Skyler was an amazing character I never understood the hate for. I could never hate her. She's wonderfully complex, and a lot of her actions were quite understandable.

Best proof of this is Breaking Bad. Nobody is calling Skyler a saint, but those who truly believe she was a bad person compared to Walter White are holding female characters to such a weird double-standard. All she really did was cheat on Walt when he turned abusive...

@unfiltered_AS When they say "complex characters" they typically mean they want a man who's an irredeemable piece of shit who's nice to one person sometimes. If a woman character shows any real complexity or is slightly mean to a man she's an evil witch beyond redemption.

Sonic 06 hate IS blown out of proportion. Just because the hate is blown out of proportion doesn't mean the absurd amount of flaws in the game are null and void. It genuinely was a terrible product released at the worst time, and therefore has a disproportionate amount of hate.

"Sonic 06 hate is blown out of proportion" As if that game alone didn't singlehandedly tarnish the reputation of Modern Sonic for decades and sent the franchise on a downward spiral where minimum effort is considered "unrealistic standards" from which they're STILL recovering.

I'll never understand people like this. Like no, the average consumer would not rather spend $1000 for a gaming PC or build their own PC. It's a decent alternative if you're a techy, but gamer ≠ techy with a bunch of disposable cash.
