@her47942 And WHO chose those political representatives? When we point the finger at others, we must also look in the mirror. Our actions (or inaction) put leaders in office. If we disapprove of their leadership, it is incumbent upon US to do something about it. #StudentsTweetPolitics

@KennethHer91011 The bottom line is that we'll NEVER have 0% inflation. Prices continually rise. The challenge comes when it rises too fast due to unforeseen issues (like a global pandemic) and significant events (Russian invasion of Ukraine). #StudentsTweetPolitics

@KennethHer91011 A certain amount of inflation is necessary in a market economy like the US's. The Federal Reserve Bank wants inflation to be at about 2% year-over-year. This allows for people to get raises, businesses to expand and open new markets, and profits. #StudentsTweetPolitics

@StudentsTweetP1 some politicians will deny the effects of pollution when it's backed up by science then turn around and claim to believe in science when they talk about their stance on gender. seems they only believe science when it fits their narrative #StudentsTweetPolitics

This is why it is absolutely CRITICAL that we elect people who will make decisions based on evidence and science. Too much is at stake. #StudentsTweetPolitics

Speaking of support for @PBS , Do y'all know the #RGV is now the largest metropolitan area in the country without its own public broadcasting stations? I think we ought to bring PBS to the RGV! #StudentsTweetPolitics

@StudentsTweetP1 I think living situations are so different than what is displayed from statistics since there are so many factors at play causing the numbers to look very good while in reality it isn’t all that great. #StudentsTweetPolitics

@StudentsTweetP1 while it’s good that Africa is getting money to improve their development and infrastructure it may not be that beneficial if they cannot sustain this newly placed infrastructure #StudentsTweetPolitics

Does everything HAVE to be a competition between rivals? We used to work with other countries to collaborate on projects. In some areas, like space exploration, we still do. #StudentsTweetPolitics

These kinds of investments using foreign aid is one of the "soft power" activities that government's engage in. This is one purpose for our country's foreign aid awards: to build goodwill around the world and gain allies. #StudentsTweetPolitics
