All of our targets were mid major coaches. Thats who 95% of P5 programs look at first in their hiring process in today’s CBB landscape. Got too many dumb dumbs who haven’t followed hoops in 5+ years asking “well why didn’t we just hire a current P5 coach who has won in March??”

@KStateMBB set to hire Casey Alexander as new Bball coach, and some fans are complaining he isn’t “splashy” enough or, evidently more egregious, not the “first” choice. I don’t care if he was 1st, 2nd, or 3rd choice; only that he’s the RIGHT choice and right fit.

Illinois fans deserve better than Brad Underwood. A great basketball program that should be winning Big Ten championships and not watching Michigan win them. I’d probably let him walk to the first job that looks him in the eye!

Last political post for awhile I hope, but this has to be said. I’m not a Trump supporter and honestly, a lot of people who aren’t Trump supporters are still completely fed up with the far left right now. Not because of “progress,” or “fairness,” or any of the values they claim to own. It’s because of the behavior: the purity tests, the tribalism, the reflex to label anyone who disagrees, even slightly, as an enemy. One wrong word, one nuanced opinion, one “I don’t fully agree,” and suddenly you’re a fascist, a bigot, or “part of the problem.” That’s not activism. That’s a cult mindset. Compromise is treated like betrayal. Questions are treated like violence. And “the science” gets invoked like a religious slogan, right up until the data becomes inconvenient, then it’s ignored, reframed, or shouted down. Meanwhile, the same people who demand empathy have none for anyone outside their in-group. Normal people are exhausted. We want solutions, not moral grandstanding. We want reality, not ideology. And we’re done pretending this kind of insane extremism is “just being passionate.” Sincerely, Normal people everywhere

They fired him for comments??? “These dudes do not deserve to wear this uniform; there will be very few of them in it next year. I’m embarrassed for the university. I’m embarrassed for our fans and our student section. It is just ridiculous… It means something to wear a K-State uniform.” I know their record sucks but he’s going to win this one in court.

Per ESPN sources, Kansas State is firing Jerome Tang for cause. They’ve informed him of this formally tonight. The basis for the for cause firing is language in his contract that references any activity that brings “public disrepute, embarrassment, ridicule” to Kansas State.

I don't know all the details, but I can confirm that Jerome Tang will not be coaching the Kansas State men's basketball team moving forward. According to sources, they are parting ways.

Every K-State fan owes me an apology. Their AD should have talked to me. Could have saved them $19.5mm.
